Who we are

Golden Hour is a small private community. We gather a handful of people in beautiful places to slow down, meditate, move, work remotely and feel at ease in their own bodies. We are the people responsible for the information you share with us, and we handle it ourselves.

What we collect

When you apply, we collect your name, email address, date of birth, city and region, your social account, how you would join, who told you about us, your written answers, the interests you select, the photos you upload, and the acknowledgements you give.

If you create an account, we store your email address and anything you choose to add to your personal area: first name, surname, city, social account and a photo. None of those extra details are required.

We also keep the internal notes and status our team records while reading an application, and basic technical information your browser sends when you visit the site.

Why we use it

To read your application, decide together whether there is a fit, and write back to you.

To confirm that everyone joining us is an adult.

To let you sign in, see the state of your application, and manage your own details.

To send you the emails that belong to this process: the confirmation that your application arrived, and later, the practical information for a gathering you are joining.

Your photos

Photos you upload are stored privately. They are never shown on the site, never shared outside our small review team, and never used for anything other than reading your application.

Only the Golden Hour team can view them, through short-lived private links that expire on their own.

Who can see your information

Only the Golden Hour team. We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not pass it to other members without asking you first.

We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site, host the database and deliver our emails. They process information on our instructions only.

How long we keep it

We keep applications for as long as the community is active, so we can remember conversations we have already had with you. If you ask us to delete yours, we remove it, together with your photos.

Your account and personal details stay with us until you ask us to close the account.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You can also ask for a copy in a portable form.

You can update or remove most of your details yourself in your personal area at any time.

Security

Access to applications, photos and accounts is limited to the team, protected by individual sign-in, and enforced at the database level, not only in the interface. Photos live in private storage that is not readable from the public internet.

Changes

This is a working version while the community takes shape. If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and, when it matters, tell you directly.
